About payments and charges

Westernport Water’s pricing structures are set in accordance with the Water Act 1989 and the pricing decision handed down by the Essential Services Commission.

Payment options

Did you know that you can make periodic payments from your everyday banking account or from your credit card account? Call us on 1300 720 711 to make an arrangement on a date that suits you.

mastercard and visa logosUse your Mastercard or Visa card to make full or part payments of your account.
Choose one of the following two options:
1) Call 1300 720 711 to pay over the phone with your credit card
2) Click here to pay online now, using our secure online payment portal.
BPay logoBPAY lets you use your phone banking or internet banking service to pay your Westernport Water account.

Register with your participating financial institution to become a Bpay customer and make this payment direct from your cheque, savings or credit card account.

Westernport Water’s Biller Code is 93682, and your unique Reference Number can be found in the ‘Payment Options’ section on the back of your bill.

direct debit logoDirect debit is an easy way to make sure your bills are paid on time. Payments can be taken directly from your nominated bank account, credit card or credit union.

You can organise a direct debit for your account that either:
– Pays the full balance of the account
– Pays an amount in regular installments. The amount you select will be deducted from your bank account weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.

For either option, you can defer a payment by contacting us three working days before the payment is due.

in person logoIn person using EFTPOS or Credit Card. Please present the account intact at our office at 2 Boys Home Road, Newhaven, 3925, between 8.30am-5pm Monday-Friday.
If you plan to visit, please note we can NO longer accept cash payments. All cash payments may be made at the Post Office.
If visiting, please follow all safety instructions that have been put in place and do not visit if you are feeling unwell.

Australia Post BPAY logoBILLPAY your account by presenting the account at any Australia Post office.
Use Centrepay to make regular deductions from your Centrelink payment. Centrepay is a voluntary and easy payment option available to Centrelink customers.

Penalty interest

Westernport Water has recommenced charging penalty interest at a rate of 6.2% calculated from the day after due date on the original account.
