Westernport Water are upgrading the Cowes Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) at 2102 Phillip Island Road, Wimbledon Heights.

These works will increase the flow rate of water required to meet demand for the next 40 years.

To improve safety, we’re moving the entire PRV system above ground and upgrading access to the site as part of the project.

What to expect

During the works, Phillip Island Rad shared path users will experience minor delays when plant or equipment is being moved around the site.

Signage and qualified traffic controllers will be on site to direct path users.

On occasion, the speed limit will be reduced to 40 km per hour on Phillip Island Road at Wimbledon Heights to maintain public and contractor safety.

Water services will remain unaffected.
