Partial lane closure, San Remo Bridge

Tuesday, Sept 3 from 9.30am until 3.30pm at the latest.

The speed limit will be reduced to 40km per hour and traffic management will be in place.

Please expect minor delays. Be sure to plan ahead, allow extra time to complete your journey.

Changes to under bridge navigation

Suspended scaffold is installed underneath the San Remo / Phillip Island Bridge as part of Westernport Waters San Remo Bridge Pipeline Bracket Renewal Project.

Vessels are prohibited from passing underneath the scaffold.

Vessels must navigate through the bridge span with lateral markers mounted on the bridge. Read more.

Temporary 42.5 tonne vehicle mass limit for San Remo / Phillip Island Bridge.

From 1 July until late September 2024 there will be a temporary 42.5 tonne vehicle mass limit on the San Remo / Phillip Island bridge.
