Water services will not be affected. The speed limit will be reduced to 40 km per hour on Phillip Island Road at Wimbledon Heights to maintain public and contractor safety. Completion planned before Easter 2025, (20 April 2025). | Westernport Water will be upgrading the Cowes Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV) to increase the flow rate of water required to meet demand for the next 40 years.
Existing underground Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV’s) are reaching the end of service life. We’re replacing the PRV’s with products housed above ground for improved access and safety. |
