Annual Water Outlook
Every year ahead of summer, we publish an Annual Water Outlook, which is a summary of our region’s current water supply and demand for the upcoming year. The outlook draws on current storage levels, expected inflow, weather conditions and expected summer consumption to forecast supply security during the year ahead. We use our forecasts when planning for the short, medium and long term to ensure our water supply security. The outlook also forecasts the likelihood of water restrictions for towns across our service region over the next 12 months.
